I grew up locally, went to school right up the street, and spent most of my childhood playing on the ballfields and inside the gymnasiums you still see here today. After graduating from TC Roberson High School, I attended North Carolina State University where I was an active member of the Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity and graduated with a degree in criminology.

Upon returning back to Asheville, my wife and I continue to raise our two daughters in the very same neighborhoods that we also grew up in. Both our parents still live locally, and I love that my children go to the same schools that I once did. We continue to watch them grow and live a lifestyle we know is unique only to Asheville. We stay busy playing sports, hiking the mountains, and keeping up with our yellow lab, Dakota. We still serve our community through several various organizations, such as South Buncombe Youth Sports, Rams Clubs, and The Rock Church of Asheville, together as a family.
